Websites that win work.
A site people can find, read on a phone, and actually get in touch through. Priced up front, with the scope agreed before anything starts.
Starter from £299
Three ways in.
Every price here is the price. Where a build has to be quoted individually, the scope and the cost are confirmed with you before work starts.

The difference is not how it looks.
It is whether someone who found you can work out what you do and get hold of you, on a phone, in a few seconds.
Before
Hard to find, harder to contact
- Nothing tells a visitor what you do in the first two seconds
- The phone number is a picture, or halfway down the page
- It was built for a desktop, and most people are on a phone
- No obvious next step, so they go back to the search results
After
Clear, and easy to act on
- What you do, where you are, and what it costs, up front
- Tap to call and tap to message, on every screen
- Built for a phone first, because that is what people use
- One obvious next step on every page
An illustration of the difference, not anyone's actual website. What a new site does for a particular business depends on that business, and I am not going to put a number on it.
Four steps, no surprises.
-
We talk
What the site has to do, who it is for, and what you already have. Free, and there is no obligation after it.
-
You get a fixed price
In writing, with what is included and what is not. Nothing starts until you say yes.
-
I build it
You see it before it goes live and tell me what to change. I will say if a change is a bigger job than it looks.
-
It goes live
I show you how to get to everything. Then it is either yours to run, or on a Care Plan if you would rather I kept an eye on it.
Hosting and the domain are included for twelve months. Then you choose.
Questions about websites
-
How long does a website take?
It depends far more on how quickly the words and photos come back than on the building. I will give you a realistic timescale with the quote, and tell you what I need from you to hold it.
-
What happens after the first year?
Hosting and the domain are included for the first twelve months. After that it is either £180/year + domain, or £49/month on Website Care which covers hosting, updates and small changes. I will tell you which is coming up before it does.
-
Who owns the site and the domain?
Ownership and licensing are set out in the Terms of Business. Read that section before you commit, and ask me about anything in it that is not clear.
-
Can you work with the site I already have?
Sometimes. If it is built on something I can work with and the bones are sound, changing it can be cheaper than starting again. I will tell you honestly which is the better spend.
-
Do I have to take a Care Plan?
No. It is there because most small businesses would rather someone else handled hosting and updates. If you would rather run it yourself, that is fine and I will show you how.
-
What do you need from me?
Your services, your prices if you want them shown, and any photos you have. If writing it is the bit you dread, copywriting is an add-on.
Tell me what the site needs to do.
A short description is plenty to start with. I will come back with questions before I quote anything.
